About the Class:

Soil to Snack Camp is a hands-on, nature-based camp where kids discover how food grows while getting their hands dirty and having fun – from tiny seeds in the soil to delicious snacks on their plates.

They’ll explore insects and pollinators, dig into soil science, and turn garden harvests into easy, kid-made snacks & daily hikes.

Day 1: Slice and dice your own garden salad and make homemade dressing - Harvest worm compost and make worm tea
Day 2: Chop fruit for fresh fruit salad - Will Morty the Turtle eat a watermelon?
Day 3: Yogurt Berry parfait: Planting day using worm tea
Day 4: Strawberry shortcake: Visit with live animals
Day 5: Homemade salsa and chips: Insects that are pests
