Animals in Winter

Indoor and Outdoor Nature Fun!

Pre-registration required.

About the Class:

4 weeks of outdoor/indoor nature fun! Each week includes a hike through the park! ALPACA VISITS AVAILABLE!

Week 1

  • Assorted activities that explore how animals adapt, hibernate or migrate in winter; Make an insect hotel to take home

Week 2

  • Activities to experience how animals fatten up for the winter; Make a journey stick from our nature hike

Week 3

  • Fun activities with animal tracks and camouflage; Make an autumn lantern to take home

Week 4

  • Hide/Catch your food like a squirrel, Nature scavenger hunt; and more!
